  26.           floating point number that is set as the value of the tab,
  27.           and then sets values for the _u_n_i_t_s, _o_f_f_s_e_t, _a_l_i_g_n_m_e_n_t, and
  28.           _d_e_c_i_m_a_l arguments where they are not NULL. The returned
  29.           floating point number represents the distance that the
  30.           rendering of the XXXXmmmmSSSSttttrrrriiiinnnngggg segment associated with _t_a_b will
  31.           be offset. The offset is from either the beginning of the
  32.           rendering or from the previous tab stop, depending on the
  33.           setting for the _o_f_f_s_e_t model. The distance will use the unit
  34.           type pointed at by _u_n_i_t.
